Terms & Conditions

Last updated: 19 July 2026

1. Introduction

These Terms and Conditions (“Terms”) govern:

  • Access to and use of Cockpit.ae;
  • Customer accounts;
  • Orders placed through Cockpit.ae;
  • Physical products;
  • Customised or made-to-order products;
  • Digital products and downloads; and
  • Communications and services connected with Cockpit.ae.

In these Terms, “Cockpit.ae,” “we,” “us” and “our” refer to the business operating through the Cockpit.ae website.

“You” and “customer” refer to the person accessing the website, creating an account or placing an order.

By accessing Cockpit.ae or submitting an order, you agree to these Terms.

Nothing in these Terms removes consumer rights that cannot legally be excluded, restricted or waived.

2. Eligibility

You must have legal capacity to enter into a binding contract.

A person who has not reached the age of legal capacity in their country may use Cockpit.ae only with the involvement and permission of a parent or legal guardian.

You confirm that:

  • Information provided to Cockpit.ae is accurate;
  • You are authorised to use the selected payment method;
  • You are purchasing for a lawful purpose; and
  • You will comply with these Terms and applicable law.

3. International Customers

Cockpit.ae accepts orders from customers in different countries, subject to:

  • Available shipping services;
  • Payment-provider availability;
  • Product restrictions;
  • Customs requirements;
  • Export restrictions;
  • Sanctions requirements; and
  • Applicable local laws.

Availability of a country at checkout does not guarantee that every product may lawfully be delivered or used there.

Customers are responsible for checking local import, tax and product-use requirements before ordering.

4. Products

Cockpit.ae may offer:

  • Printed cockpit posters;
  • Cockpit-panel artwork;
  • Aviation training-room displays;
  • Decorative aviation products;
  • Custom-sized prints;
  • Personalised products;
  • Digital artwork;
  • Vector or downloadable files;
  • Accessories; and
  • Related products or services.

The purchase includes only the items expressly listed in the product description or order confirmation.

Frames, chairs, mounting structures, stands, screens, aircraft seats, lighting, classroom equipment and other items appearing in promotional images are not included unless expressly stated.

5. Aviation Safety Disclaimer

Cockpit.ae products are intended for purposes such as:

  • Decoration;
  • Personal study;
  • General familiarisation;
  • Aviation enthusiasm;
  • Classroom display;
  • Training-room visual reference; and
  • Non-operational procedural discussion.

Unless expressly confirmed through official certification, Cockpit.ae products are not approved, certified or intended for:

  • Aircraft operation;
  • Actual flight;
  • Flight planning;
  • Aircraft maintenance;
  • Engineering decisions;
  • Safety-critical decisions;
  • Official pilot training credit;
  • Type-rating credit;
  • Licence testing;
  • Regulatory compliance;
  • Certified simulator use;
  • Emergency procedures;
  • Replacement of an aircraft manual;
  • Replacement of manufacturer documentation; or
  • Installation as an aircraft component.

Customers must rely on current documents issued or approved by the relevant:

  • Aircraft manufacturer;
  • Aircraft operator;
  • Aviation authority;
  • Maintenance organisation;
  • Training organisation; or
  • Other authorised source

for operational, technical, regulatory and safety purposes.

Using Cockpit.ae products for an operational or safety-critical purpose is strictly at the user’s own risk.

6. Aircraft Variations and Technical Accuracy

Aircraft cockpit layouts can vary according to:

  • Aircraft model;
  • Aircraft variant;
  • Production date;
  • Engine type;
  • Operator selection;
  • Customer options;
  • Software standard;
  • Equipment modification;
  • Retrofit status; and
  • Airline configuration.

Unless a product page expressly provides a written accuracy guarantee, Cockpit.ae does not guarantee that artwork:

  • Matches one specific aircraft;
  • Is dimensionally identical to an aircraft component;
  • Includes every switch, label or display;
  • Represents the latest aircraft standard;
  • Matches a particular airline;
  • Is suitable for certified training;
  • Is technically complete; or
  • Is free from artistic simplification.

Descriptions such as “full size,” “actual size,” “1:1,” “real size” or similar terms refer only to the dimensions stated on the relevant product page. Printing, trimming and manufacturing tolerances may apply.

Customers requiring exact dimensions or a particular configuration must obtain written confirmation before ordering.

7. No Affiliation or Endorsement

Unless expressly stated, Cockpit.ae is an independent business and is not affiliated with, sponsored by, endorsed by, licensed by or approved by:

  • An aircraft manufacturer;
  • An airline;
  • An aircraft-equipment manufacturer;
  • An aviation authority;
  • A flight school;
  • A training organisation; or
  • A simulator-certification organisation.

Aircraft names, model designations, manufacturer names, airline names, trademarks and logos belong to their respective owners.

References to third-party names or aircraft types are used only to describe the subject, compatibility or inspiration of a product and do not imply endorsement.

8. Product Images and Descriptions

Cockpit.ae attempts to present products accurately. However:

  • Screen colours may differ from printed colours;
  • Colours may vary between printing materials;
  • Printed dimensions may have normal tolerances;
  • Cropping and trimming may vary slightly;
  • Product images may not show exact scale;
  • Promotional room images may be mock-ups, composites or computer-generated visualisations;
  • Packaging may differ from images; and
  • Minor design improvements may be made without changing the product’s essential nature.

Customers should review the complete product description, size, material, delivery format and included items before ordering.

An obvious typographical, pricing or technical error does not create a right to purchase at the incorrect price or specification.

Where an error is identified after an order, Cockpit.ae may offer the customer the choice of:

  • Proceeding with corrected information;
  • Selecting an alternative; or
  • Receiving a refund for the affected item.

9. Orders and Contract Formation

Products displayed on Cockpit.ae are invitations to submit an order.

An automated order acknowledgement confirms that the order was received but does not necessarily mean it has been accepted.

An order is accepted when Cockpit.ae:

  • Sends an acceptance or dispatch confirmation;
  • Begins production of a customised product;
  • Makes a digital product available; or
  • Otherwise expressly confirms acceptance.

Cockpit.ae may reject or cancel an order before acceptance because of:

  • Product unavailability;
  • Incorrect pricing;
  • Incorrect product information;
  • Failed payment;
  • Suspected fraud;
  • Shipping restrictions;
  • Customs restrictions;
  • Sanctions requirements;
  • Intellectual-property concerns;
  • Unlawful customer instructions; or
  • Inability to produce the requested customisation.

Where an order is cancelled after payment and no product has been supplied, the relevant payment will be refunded.

10. Prices, Currencies and Taxes

Prices may be displayed in AED, USD or another available currency.

Currency conversions displayed on the website may be approximate. Your bank or payment provider may use a different exchange rate or charge foreign-transaction fees.

Unless expressly stated otherwise:

  • Product prices exclude delivery charges;
  • Delivery charges are displayed during checkout;
  • Import duties and customs charges are not included;
  • Taxes are applied where legally required; and
  • Promotions cannot be combined.

The total amount charged by Cockpit.ae will be shown before the order is submitted.

11. Payments

Orders must be paid using a payment method offered at checkout.

By submitting payment information, you confirm that:

  • You are authorised to use the payment method;
  • The payment information is accurate;
  • Sufficient funds or credit are available; and
  • The transaction is lawful.

Cockpit.ae and its payment providers may conduct reasonable fraud, identity and transaction checks.

An order may be delayed or cancelled where payment cannot be confirmed.

Payment providers may independently decline, investigate, hold or reverse a transaction under their own terms.

12. Fraud and Chargebacks

Customers should contact Cockpit.ae before submitting a payment dispute where an order problem can reasonably be investigated or corrected.

Knowingly submitting a false:

  • Chargeback;
  • Non-delivery claim;
  • Unauthorised-transaction claim;
  • Damaged-product claim; or
  • Refund claim

is prohibited.

Cockpit.ae may submit relevant order, delivery, tracking and communication evidence to payment providers, banks, couriers, insurers or authorities when responding to a dispute.

This section does not prevent a customer from exercising a genuine legal right concerning an unauthorised or incorrect transaction.

13. Customised and Made-to-Order Products

For customised products, you are responsible for confirming:

  • Aircraft model;
  • Aircraft variant;
  • Engine type;
  • Size;
  • Configuration;
  • Colour;
  • Text;
  • Spelling;
  • Names;
  • Measurements;
  • File format; and
  • Other custom instructions.

Where a proof is provided, production may begin after approval.

Cockpit.ae is not responsible for an error that was clearly visible in a customer-approved proof, except where mandatory law requires otherwise.

Customised or made-to-order products cannot normally be changed or cancelled after production begins.

14. Customer-Supplied Content

When you provide artwork, photographs, logos, text, diagrams, files or instructions, you confirm that:

  • You own the material or have permission to use it;
  • It does not infringe intellectual-property rights;
  • It does not violate privacy or confidentiality;
  • It is not unlawful or misleading;
  • It does not contain malicious software; and
  • Cockpit.ae may use it as necessary to complete the order.

You grant Cockpit.ae a limited licence to copy, modify, print and process the supplied content solely for quoting, producing, delivering and supporting your order.

Cockpit.ae may refuse content reasonably believed to be unlawful, infringing, deceptive, offensive or unsafe.

15. Intellectual Property

The original content available through Cockpit.ae may include:

  • Artwork;
  • Cockpit illustrations;
  • Vector graphics;
  • Product photographs;
  • Mock-ups;
  • Layouts;
  • Product descriptions;
  • Branding;
  • Logos;
  • Videos;
  • Downloadable files; and
  • Website designs.

Except for identified third-party material, this content is owned by or licensed to Cockpit.ae and is protected by applicable intellectual-property laws.

Without written permission, you may not:

  • Copy Cockpit.ae artwork;
  • Trace or redraw the artwork;
  • Extract vector paths;
  • Remove watermarks;
  • Download product images for commercial use;
  • Redistribute files;
  • Share digital downloads;
  • Resell copies;
  • Produce competing products from the artwork;
  • Upload artwork to a print-on-demand service;
  • Publish high-resolution copies;
  • Claim the artwork as your own;
  • Register the artwork or branding as your intellectual property;
  • Use the artwork to train a commercial image or design system; or
  • Assist another person in doing these things.

Purchasing a physical product does not transfer copyright, design rights, trademark rights or reproduction rights.

16. Digital Products and Licences

Purchasing a digital product grants only the licence described on the relevant product page.

Unless a commercial licence is expressly included, digital products are licensed for the purchaser’s personal or internal non-commercial use only.

You may not:

  • Share the file;
  • Resell it;
  • Sublicense it;
  • Upload it to a public or shared drive;
  • Offer it for free;
  • Use it to manufacture products for sale;
  • Publish the source file;
  • Remove ownership notices;
  • Convert it for redistribution; or
  • use it to create substantially similar competing artwork.

Where printing is permitted, you may provide the file to a printing company solely to produce the permitted copies for you. You are responsible for ensuring that the printing provider does not retain, share or reuse the file.

Digital licences may be protected through:

  • Download limits;
  • Expiring links;
  • Account restrictions;
  • Watermarks;
  • Order identifiers; or
  • Other reasonable technical controls.

Unauthorised distribution automatically terminates the digital licence without limiting Cockpit.ae’s other legal rights.

17. Production and Processing Times

Production and processing times are estimates unless expressly guaranteed in writing.

Processing time is separate from shipping time.

Production may be affected by:

  • Proof approval;
  • Incomplete instructions;
  • Payment review;
  • Material availability;
  • Printing-equipment problems;
  • High order volumes;
  • Public holidays; or
  • Circumstances outside reasonable control.

Cockpit.ae will make reasonable efforts to communicate material delays.

18. Shipping and Delivery

Orders may be delivered through independent couriers, postal services, freight providers, fulfilment partners or printers.

Delivery dates are estimates unless a guaranteed service has been expressly agreed.

You are responsible for providing:

  • A complete address;
  • Correct recipient information;
  • A working telephone number;
  • Building or unit details;
  • Access instructions;
  • Customs identification where required; and
  • Any other information reasonably required for delivery.

Cockpit.ae is not responsible for delays or extra costs caused by incorrect or incomplete customer information.

You are responsible for monitoring tracking information and cooperating with reasonable courier or customs requests.

19. Customs and Import Charges

International orders may be subject to:

  • Import duties;
  • Import VAT;
  • Sales tax;
  • Customs brokerage fees;
  • Clearance charges;
  • Inspection;
  • Storage charges; and
  • Local documentation requirements.

Unless checkout expressly states that these amounts are included, they are the customer’s responsibility.

Customers are responsible for checking whether products may lawfully be imported, possessed and used in the destination country.

Cockpit.ae is not responsible for customs delays, seizures or charges caused by destination-country requirements, except where applicable law provides otherwise.

Cockpit.ae will not intentionally provide false customs values or descriptions.

20. Failed Delivery

A delivery may fail when:

  • An address is incorrect;
  • The recipient is unavailable;
  • Delivery is refused;
  • A parcel is not collected;
  • Customs information is not provided;
  • Import charges are not paid; or
  • The courier cannot access the location.

The customer may be responsible for reasonable return, storage, redelivery and administrative costs caused by these circumstances.

Refunds for returned parcels may be reduced by non-refundable shipping, customs, return and processing expenses where permitted by law.

21. Inspection and Delivery Problems

Customers should inspect orders promptly after delivery.

Damage, incorrect items or missing contents should preferably be reported within 48 hours so that courier and insurance evidence can be preserved.

A report should include:

  • Order information;
  • A description of the problem;
  • Photographs of the product;
  • Photographs of the outer packaging;
  • Photographs of the internal packaging;
  • A photograph of the shipping label; and
  • Any other reasonably requested evidence.

Do not discard the product or packaging until Cockpit.ae confirms that it is no longer required.

The 48-hour reporting request does not remove a mandatory legal right.

22. Returns and Refunds

22.1 Mandatory rights

Nothing in these Terms limits legal rights relating to products that are:

  • Defective;
  • Damaged before receipt;
  • Incorrect;
  • Incomplete;
  • Materially different from their description; or
  • Otherwise non-compliant with mandatory consumer law.

Depending on the circumstances, the remedy may include repair, replacement, partial refund or full refund.

22.2 Change-of-mind returns

Subject to applicable law, Cockpit.ae may accept a change-of-mind return for an eligible standard physical product when:

  • The request is made within seven calendar days of delivery;
  • Return approval is obtained before sending the product;
  • The product is unused;
  • The product is undamaged;
  • The product has not been mounted, cut, marked or altered;
  • The protective packaging remains intact; and
  • The product is returned using adequate packaging and a trackable service.

The customer is responsible for change-of-mind return shipping.

Original delivery charges, customs charges, currency-conversion costs and optional service fees are not refundable unless required by law or the return results from Cockpit.ae’s error.

22.3 Products not eligible for change-of-mind returns

Subject to mandatory rights, the following products are normally final sale:

  • Custom-sized products;
  • Personalised products;
  • Made-to-order products;
  • Products produced after proof approval;
  • Products cut, mounted or altered by the customer;
  • Clearance products marked as final sale;
  • Digital products after access or download;
  • Digital licences or activation information;
  • Gift cards; and
  • Products damaged by improper handling or storage.

22.4 Digital product refunds

Digital products are normally non-refundable after a file or download link has been supplied.

A replacement or refund may be provided where:

  • The file is materially defective;
  • The wrong file was supplied;
  • The product materially differs from its description;
  • A functioning replacement cannot be supplied within a reasonable period; or
  • A refund is required by law.

Compatibility with a specific printer, software program, operating system or third-party service is not guaranteed unless expressly stated on the product page.

22.5 Refund processing

Approved refunds will ordinarily be returned to the original payment method.

Banks and payment providers control the time required for a refund to appear.

Exchange-rate changes and third-party fees may cause the converted amount received to differ from the amount originally paid.

23. Changes and Cancellations

Order-change or cancellation requests must be submitted promptly through Cockpit.ae.

A request is not accepted until confirmed by Cockpit.ae.

An order may no longer be changed or cancelled after:

  • Production begins;
  • A proof is approved;
  • A product is printed;
  • A product is cut or customised;
  • An order is packed or dispatched;
  • A digital file is generated; or
  • A digital product is accessed or downloaded.

Mandatory cancellation rights remain unaffected.

24. Product Care and Installation

You are responsible for appropriate handling, storage, mounting and installation.

Printed products may be damaged by:

  • Moisture;
  • Direct sunlight;
  • Excessive heat;
  • Folding;
  • Creasing;
  • Unsuitable adhesives;
  • Incorrect framing;
  • Rough handling; or
  • Inappropriate cleaning products.

Cockpit.ae is not responsible for damage caused after delivery by improper installation, mounting, storage, alteration or use.

Professional installation should be used where appropriate.

25. Promotions

Promotions and discount codes:

  • Apply only during the stated period;
  • May be limited to certain products or countries;
  • May require a minimum order value;
  • Have no cash value;
  • May not be resold;
  • May be limited to one use;
  • May not be combined unless stated; and
  • May be cancelled where used through fraud, manipulation or error.

Promotions do not apply retrospectively unless expressly stated.

26. Reviews and User Content

When you submit a review, image, comment or testimonial, you grant Cockpit.ae a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free licence to host, reproduce and display it for operating and promoting the website, subject to applicable privacy law.

You confirm that the content:

  • Reflects a genuine experience;
  • Is not false or misleading;
  • Does not infringe another person’s rights;
  • Does not disclose confidential information;
  • Does not contain malicious content; and
  • Complies with applicable law.

Cockpit.ae may moderate or remove unlawful, fraudulent, abusive, irrelevant or rights-infringing content.

27. Acceptable Website Use

You must not:

  • Use Cockpit.ae unlawfully;
  • Attempt unauthorised access;
  • Introduce malware;
  • Circumvent security controls;
  • Circumvent download limits;
  • Scrape website content;
  • Copy product databases;
  • Manipulate prices;
  • Submit fraudulent orders;
  • Use automated purchasing tools without permission;
  • Impersonate another person;
  • Interfere with website operation; or
  • Use Cockpit.ae to infringe another person’s rights.

Access may be restricted or terminated where reasonably necessary to protect the website, customers or legal rights.

28. Third-Party Services

Cockpit.ae may use or link to independent:

  • Payment gateways;
  • Delivery-tracking services;
  • Social-media platforms;
  • Mapping services;
  • Analytics tools; and
  • Other external services.

Cockpit.ae does not control and is not responsible for the availability, content, security or independent conduct of third-party services.

Third-party terms and privacy policies may apply.

29. Website Availability

Continuous or error-free website availability is not guaranteed.

Cockpit.ae may suspend or restrict access for:

  • Maintenance;
  • Security;
  • Technical updates;
  • Legal compliance;
  • System failure; or
  • Circumstances outside reasonable control.

30. Warranties and Disclaimers

To the fullest extent permitted by law:

  • Cockpit.ae is provided on an “as available” basis;
  • General website content is not professional aviation, engineering, legal or safety advice;
  • Products are not guaranteed to satisfy an unstated or unusual purpose;
  • Third-party services are not guaranteed to remain available;
  • Delivery estimates are not guarantees unless expressly stated; and
  • Customers are responsible for reviewing suitability before purchasing.

Nothing in these Terms excludes a warranty or consumer protection that cannot legally be excluded.

31. Limitation of Liability

Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability where doing so would be unlawful, including liability that cannot lawfully be excluded for:

  • Fraud;
  • Deliberate misconduct;
  • Death or personal injury;
  • Gross negligence where applicable; or
  • Mandatory consumer rights.

Subject to those exceptions and to the fullest extent permitted by law, Cockpit.ae is not responsible for:

  • Indirect or consequential loss;
  • Loss of profit;
  • Loss of revenue;
  • Loss of business;
  • Loss of opportunity;
  • Loss of anticipated savings;
  • Loss of data;
  • Loss of goodwill;
  • Aviation or training decisions made using Cockpit.ae products;
  • Customs actions;
  • Courier delays outside reasonable control;
  • Incompatibility with an unstated printer or software system;
  • Improper product installation; or
  • Unauthorised use of a digital product.

Where permitted by law, Cockpit.ae’s total liability connected with a particular product or order will not exceed the amount paid to Cockpit.ae for that product or order.

32. Responsibility for Unlawful Conduct

To the extent permitted by law, you are responsible for losses and claims resulting directly from:

  • Your unlawful use of Cockpit.ae;
  • Fraudulent orders or claims;
  • Unauthorised reproduction or resale of artwork;
  • Infringing customer-supplied content;
  • Unauthorised sharing of digital files;
  • Violation of import or export laws;
  • Misuse of products for operational aviation purposes; or
  • A material breach of these Terms.

This section does not make a consumer responsible for losses caused by Cockpit.ae’s own unlawful conduct.

33. Intellectual-Property Complaints

A person who believes that content on Cockpit.ae infringes intellectual-property rights may submit a complaint through the website.

The complaint should include:

  • The complainant’s identity;
  • Contact information;
  • Identification of the protected work;
  • Identification of the material complained about;
  • Evidence of ownership or authority;
  • The reason infringement is alleged; and
  • Confirmation that the supplied information is accurate.

Cockpit.ae may temporarily remove or restrict disputed content while investigating.

34. Force Majeure

Cockpit.ae is not responsible for delay or failure caused by circumstances outside reasonable control, including:

  • Natural disasters;
  • Fire;
  • Flood;
  • War;
  • Terrorism;
  • Civil disorder;
  • Epidemics;
  • Government restrictions;
  • Sanctions;
  • Customs disruption;
  • Transport interruption;
  • Carrier failure;
  • Labour disputes;
  • Power failure;
  • Internet failure;
  • Cyberattacks despite reasonable precautions;
  • Equipment breakdown; or
  • Material shortages.

Reasonable efforts will be made to reduce the effects of such events.

Mandatory refund and consumer rights remain unaffected.

35. Suspension and Termination

Cockpit.ae may suspend an account, restrict access, cancel an unaccepted order or terminate a digital licence where reasonably necessary because of:

  • Fraud;
  • Illegal activity;
  • Security threats;
  • Payment reversal;
  • Intellectual-property infringement;
  • Unauthorised file sharing;
  • Repeated breaches; or
  • Legal or regulatory requirements.

Termination does not affect rights and obligations that arose before termination.

36. Governing Law and Worldwide Consumer Rights

These Terms and transactions through Cockpit.ae are governed by the laws of the United Arab Emirates.

However, customers may also benefit from mandatory consumer rights in their country or region. Nothing in these Terms removes rights that cannot lawfully be excluded by contract.

Where mandatory law allows a consumer to bring a claim in their home jurisdiction, these Terms do not prevent that claim.

Subject to mandatory consumer-jurisdiction rules, disputes will be submitted to the competent courts of the United Arab Emirates.

37. Complaints and Dispute Resolution

Customers should first submit complaints through the contact method available on Cockpit.ae.

The complaint should include:

  • Order details;
  • Contact information;
  • A description of the issue;
  • The requested resolution; and
  • Relevant photographs or documents.

Cockpit.ae will make reasonable efforts to investigate and resolve complaints fairly.

A customer may also contact an appropriate consumer-protection body or use another dispute process available under applicable law.

38. Electronic Communications

You agree that order confirmations, invoices, contractual notices and other communications may be provided electronically where permitted by law.

Electronic records may be retained as evidence of:

  • Orders;
  • Payments;
  • Consents;
  • Customer approvals;
  • Communications; and
  • Notices.

You are responsible for providing a working email address and reviewing relevant messages, including junk or spam folders.

39. Assignment

You may not transfer your rights or obligations under these Terms without written permission.

Cockpit.ae may transfer rights and obligations as part of a genuine sale, restructuring or transfer of the business, provided that mandatory consumer protections are not reduced.

40. Severability

Where a provision of these Terms is found invalid or unenforceable, that provision will be limited or removed only to the extent necessary.

The remaining provisions will continue in effect.

41. No Waiver

Failure to enforce a provision immediately does not waive the right to enforce it later.

A waiver is effective only when clearly confirmed in writing.

42. Entire Agreement

These Terms, the Privacy Policy, the relevant product page, the order confirmation and any expressly incorporated policy form the agreement concerning an order.

Mandatory law will prevail where any term conflicts with a legal right that cannot be excluded.

43. Changes to These Terms

Cockpit.ae may update these Terms to reflect changes in:

  • Products;
  • Website functions;
  • Payment methods;
  • Delivery services;
  • Business operations; or
  • Legal requirements.

Updated Terms will be published with a revised “Last updated” date.

Changes will ordinarily apply to website use and orders placed after publication. They will not retrospectively alter an already accepted order unless required by law or agreed with the customer.

44. Contact

Questions, complaints, copyright notices and other legal requests may be submitted through the contact form or contact details displayed on Cockpit.ae.
